Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Residential Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing residential electrical systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Residential Electrician, you will work directly with homeowners, builders, and project managers on a variety of projects including service calls, panel upgrades, remodels, EV charger installations, generators, lighting systems, and new residential construction. We are looking for a dependable professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems and components. Perform electrical service upgrades, panel replacements, circuit installations, and rewiring projects. Install lighting systems, ceiling fans, outlets, switches, dimmers, and smart home devices. Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions while ensuring customer satisfaction. Install and service EV charging stations, standby generators, surge protection, and energy-efficient electrical systems. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical diagrams, and project specifications. Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), local building codes, and company standards. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding project scope, timelines, and recommendations. Complete service documentation, work orders, and material usage accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members, apprentices, and project managers to ensure successful project completion. Participate in ongoing training to stay current with electrical technologies, safety requirements, and industry best practices. Requirements Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience preferred. Strong knowledge of residential electrical systems and NEC requirements. Experience with service work, troubleshooting, remodels, and new construction projects. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, work in attics and crawl spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Pay:
$33.00 - $43.00 per hour
