In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of settings. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from commercial renovations to industrial installations, utilizing your technical knowledge and hands-on skills to make a real impact. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical layouts Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on various sites Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately Follow NEC (National Electrical Code) standards and local electrical codes to ensure compliance during all work activities Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems for automation projects Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other tradespeople during renovation or new construction projects Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted for project documentation Skills Extensive experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for complex wiring layouts Strong knowledge of NEC standards, high voltage and low voltage systems, and safety protocols on construction sites Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) for electrical installations Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation controls Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters Familiarity with renovation projects requiring adaptation of existing wiring or systems Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation and electrical system schematics analysis Knowledge of frame carpentry basics beneficial for integrating electrical work into structural components Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving on-site Join us if you're passionate about delivering safe, reliable electrical solutions!
