Role:
At least two years of professional experience working at the Journeyman level. Proven ability to perform complex diagnostics and troubleshooting. Holding a Journeyman license is considered an asset. Demonstrated proficiency in handling service calls and panel upgrades. Background in working with Generac or other standby power systems is highly valued.
Compensation and Perks:
Annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $90,000. Comprehensive benefits package. Significant opportunities for overtime pay. Paid time off included. Retirement savings plan via 401k. Additional incentives provided.
Core Duties:
Ensure residential electrical infrastructure and backup power units are fully operational by performing necessary repairs, maintenance, and installations across Syracuse. Execute a variety of technical tasks including system diagnostics, electrical service, panel modernization, and the setup of generators and transfer switches. Focus your expertise on residential power systems while occasionally supporting commercial-scale generator projects. Manage the installation and upkeep of diverse hardware, such as backup power units, electrical panels, and residential wiring, to ensure reliable performance for our clients.
Required Proficiencies:
Expertise in repairing and diagnosing electrical systems. Possession of a valid Journeyman's license. Skill in the installation and configuration of electrical panels.
