This energetic role involves transforming outdoor spaces by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting exterior lighting systems to enhance curb appeal and safety. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results that brighten our clients' homes and lives. Looking for candidates who possess Licenses and Insurance as you will be a 1099 contractor

MUST HAVES

License in the county where work is performed and Insurance Able to climb ladders and work and or walk on the roof of a home to install tracks and lights. Work will be performed in the following counties

Bergen, Union Responsibilities Install, connect, and secure exterior lighting fixtures on residential properties following detailed schematics and technical specifications. Use hand tools and power tools to mount fixtures, run wiring, and ensure proper electrical connections in compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems, including replacing faulty components and adjusting fixtures for optimal performance. Conduct routine maintenance on installed systems to ensure longevity and consistent operation. Interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair processes accurately. Work with low voltage wiring systems, ensuring safe handling and proper insulation throughout the installation process. Collaborate with clients to understand their lighting needs, offering expert advice on placement, design, and system enhancements. Experience Proven experience in field service roles involving electrical or mechanical installations, preferably with service technician background. Familiarity with hand tools, equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Knowledge of computer hardware or networking is a plus for integrating smart lighting controls or automation systems. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; experience working with low voltage electrical systems is essential. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using ohmmeters or similar testing devices for diagnosing electrical issues. Prior experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions is preferred; strong safety awareness is mandatory. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment repair and system maintenance.
