Service Electrician Craftsman Electric - 3.8 Cincinnati, OH Job Details Full-time 18 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Customer communication Task prioritization Full Job Description Electrical Service & Troubleshooting Perform electrical service, repairs, installations, upgrades, and maintenance safely and efficiently Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial environments Test and verify completed work to ensure proper functionality and code compliance Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical diagrams Identify potential issues, recommend solutions, and communicate findings clearly to customers and internal teams Work independently on routine service work and collaborate with senior technicians or leadership on more complex projects Follow all company safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and NEC standards Customer Service & Communication Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for customers on job sites Communicate job progress, scheduling updates, and scope changes clearly and professionally Confirm customer needs and job scope before beginning work Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure customer satisfaction Support positive customer relationships that encourage repeat business and referrals Job Planning & Coordination Coordinate labor, tools, materials, and sequencing for assigned work Review work orders, scopes, and project details to ensure efficient execution Monitor labor and material usage to support productivity and cost control Complete accurate job documentation, invoices, time entry, and material tracking within company systems Collaborate with internal departments including Estimating, HVAC, Construction, and Service leadership Leadership & Team Support Provide guidance and support to Apprentices and junior team members Reinforce safe work practices and quality standards in the field Share field feedback, recurring customer needs, and improvement opportunities with leadership Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and professional development opportunities Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license preferred 3+ years of residential and commercial electrical experience preferred Service electrical experience strongly preferred Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Preferred Qualifications Experience developing estimates or quotes Experience leading small service projects or mentoring apprentices Experience using service management or work order systems OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Lift, equipment, or additional electrical certifications Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry materials and tools Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in varying job-site conditions Ability to bend, kneel, climb, reach, and stand for extended periods Ability to safely perform physical electrical work in residential and commercial environments Craftsman Electric is seeking motivated and customer-focused Service Technicians to join our growing Service team.
