Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various environments, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects. Test electrical circuits using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed at all times. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed to ensure compliance and accountability. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics, blueprints reading, and construction site procedures. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Knowledge of NEC regulations related to low voltage and high voltage systems. Experience working on renovation projects or new construction sites is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical schematics and schematics related to electrical systems. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus.
