Overview Join our dynamic team as an Electrician Helper and be a vital part of electrical installation and maintenance projects across diverse construction sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in electrical systems, work alongside experienced electricians, and contribute to the successful completion of commercial and industrial electrical projects. Responsibilities Assist licensed electricians in installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Support the setup and use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment like ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits. Help with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation. Handle low voltage wiring and components for various electrical systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Participate in construction site activities, including framing carpentry tasks related to electrical infrastructure. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed on-site. Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing tools and techniques. Qualifications Previous experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and schematics is essential for success in this role. Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems along with NEC compliance standards is preferred. Construction site experience, especially in framing carpentry or blueprint reading, will give you an edge. Strong safety awareness and the ability to follow detailed instructions are crucial. Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude will help you thrive as part of our team. While formal certifications are not mandatory initially, relevant experience in electrical work or construction is highly valued.
