Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various residential, commercial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and systems in commercial and residential settings. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects. Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately. Follow all safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work, adhering strictly to NEC standards. Collaborate with other trades such as frame carpentry or handyman teams during construction or renovation projects to ensure seamless project execution. Requirements Proven experience as an residential electrician or commercial electrician working on construction sites or renovation projects. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment used in electrical troubleshooting. Knowledge of NEC standards governing high voltage and low voltage installations for safety compliance. Hands-on experience with construction site safety procedures and working in diverse environments including renovation projects. Intergrity and good customer skills a must. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience or frame carpentry skills are a plus for versatile project support.
