Industrial Electrician - Panel Builder

Expert Crane is seeking an industrial electrician with 3-5 years experience as an electrical panel builder. The industrial electrician will be responsible for: Physical assembly of electrical control panels, junction boxes and some wire harnesses from prints Wiring and testing of control panels for overhead cranes Fabricating controls to print, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel Wiring of all components, installation of control panel onto equipment and testing to ensure proper operation

Essential Functions:

o Strong communication skills, both written and verbal o Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints o Strong understanding of electrical processes o Ability to meet deadlines under pressure o High attention to detail o Ability to route and bundle wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards o Mounting components to back panels and enclosures

Qualifications:

o High school diploma o Electrical panel building experience o Knowledge of electrical terminology o Experience using hand tools, drills, grinders, impact wrench, etc. safely o Excellent hand-eye coordination o Understanding of quality control principles Generous Benefits package including PTO, 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance.
