Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various residential, commercial , and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code (NEC). What you'll do Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential and commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters such as ohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices to diagnose issues Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and high voltage circuits to ensure optimal operation Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry tasks, and general construction activities Maintain compliance with NEC standards and safety regulations during all phases of work Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or failures before they occur Requirements Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification demonstrating proven electrical expertise Extensive experience working as an residential electrician or commercial electrician in construction or renovation environments Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers), power tools (e.g., drills), and specialized testing equipment like ohmmeters Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and OSHA standards Ability to read technical schematics related to PLCs, low voltage wiring, high voltage circuits, and control systems Familiarity with NEC regulations governing electrical installations in various settings Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving framing carpentry or handyman skills is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail in high-pressure situations Must be able to pass Drug Test Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values safety, craftsmanship, and innovation.
