About This Position:
As an low-voltage technician for Craftsmen Resources, you will be involved in multiple fields of construction including CCTV, Access Control, Fiber Network Cabling, and Fire/Burglary Alarm. Our average work week is Monday - Friday, 07:00-3:30p, although certain projects may require overtime or a variable schedule. As an electrician, you may be tasked with the following: Layout and install low-voltage electrical systems including: pulling wiring, terminating wires/station ends, installing devices, install and program access control and surveillance equipment. Operate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical benders, threaders, wire pullers, power drill, hyd. strippers, hyd. punch, hand tools, knockout set and other related field tools. Test, Diagnose, and repair electrical systems, components and equipment with appropriate testing equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and operation. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics You may receive other responsibilities from your site supervisor. Be a safety champion and return home safely each day. Pay is DOE $20 - $42 / hour
Job Requirements:
Must have 1-5 years of low-voltage electrical experience. Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds, and push and pull objects as required. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crouch, crawl, kneel, and reach. Work at least 40 hours per week, and overtime as required. Ability to obtain an apprentice or journeyman's license with state licensing board. Ability to work well with others.
