Job Description

This is a travel position with per diem paid 7 days. Building solar farms in various locations in Oklahoma and Nebraska. Your role in the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of solar electrical systems at field sites and solar farms. This position focuses primarily on new installations, requiring expertise in electrical wiring, system testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance. The role may involve national and regional travel to diverse project locations.
Locations:
Pierce, Nebraska Rush Springs, Oklahoma Guymon, Oklahoma Hourly Pay:
Whether local or non-local, $50-$55/hour depending on experience and capability.
Non-Local-per Diem:
Anyone that lives 65 or more miles away from the jobsite qualifies as non-local. Per Diem is $100/day, but note that when a person works all 5 days in a week, they receive 7 days of per Diem. Any non-local must come from a state that has reciprocity for licensed journeyman electricians. Please refer to the information below to know which states do:
For Nebraska:
Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
For Oklahoma:
Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
NOTES:
All candidates' licenses must be current and active. Responsibilities Install solar panels and related electrical components Perform electrical wiring in compliance with safety and code standards Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues Carry out routine maintenance and system upgrades to improve efficiency Inspect equipment to ensure reliability and safety Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience in electrical work Technical certificate in electrical systems or renewable energy Licensed Electrician credential Experience with photovoltaic system installation Strong skills in electrical wiring and troubleshooting IND1
