Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation of electrical components. Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify faults. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and using personal protective equipment. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, including framing carpentry when necessary, to facilitate seamless project completion. Qualifications Previous experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Strong interest in learning electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail when using testing devices like ohmmeters. Construction site experience is advantageous; a proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork is essential.
