Full Time Overview Assemble and wire electrical control panels to electrical schematics. Panels include Variable Frequency Drive, Soft Start and custom control panels using Programmable Logic Controllers or relay logic. Responsibilities
- Read and understand electrical schematics. Knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components and general wiring practices. Familiar with proper sizing of power cabling per the NEC.
- Hand and power tool operation including drills, jig saws, knockout punches and electric/hydraulic crimpers.
- Computer skills to print wire and component labels
- Retrieve and view component layout photos.
- Assemble components to back pans and enclosures and wire per electrical schematic Requirements
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must practice good/safe housekeeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work in an industrial area and involves manual labor
- Candidates must be able to bend/ lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must comply with PPE requirements. Most of the work is at our Tulsa facility but light travel is expected on occasion
- Previous panel builder experience is preferred.
