Job Description

Journeyman Electrician Priority One Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team! At Priority One, we believe our people are our greatest asset. Job Summary:
This position offers a unique opportunity for an electrician who enjoys a variety of work. While traditional service and electrical troubleshooting are part of the role, a significant portion of this position focuses on supporting our HVAC operations through equipment electrical connections, circuit installations, disconnects, control wiring, diagnostics, and equipment startups. You will work closely with our HVAC installation and service teams to ensure safe, code-compliant, and high-quality installations for our customers.
Compensation:
$45-$60 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

  • Career Advancement Opportunities Responsibilities, include but not limited to:
  • Perform electrical connections and commissioning for residential and light commercial HVAC equipment
  • Install dedicated circuits, disconnects, breakers, and associated electrical components
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues related to HVAC systems and controls
  • Diagnose and repair residential electrical systems
  • Perform service work, electrical upgrades, and panel modifications
  • Install generators and transfer switches
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation specifications
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable electrical codes
  • Communicate professionally with customers, field personnel, and management
  • Complete electronic job documentation accurately and timely
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional manner
Qualifications:
  • Current Oregon Journeyman Electrician license, (Required).
  • Valid and insurable driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Able to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely with other team members, management, and customers in person, by phone and email.
  • Must be highly motivated, detailed oriented, able to multi-task, be highly skilled in problem solving and accurate resolutions, have a keen sense of urgency, be flexible, and demonstrate the ability to follow through on tasks timely and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a great attitude that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
  • Must be punctual with a clean presentation of them self and be prepared to work every day to provide reliable support for your team with excellent timeliness and attendance.

  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
