This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of construction sites, renovation projects, and industrial settings, ensuring all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality work that keeps our operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments using hand tools and power tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to accurately execute electrical installations. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and quality. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes in industrial settings. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and other related tasks as needed to support electrical work. Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when working on construction sites or with high-voltage systems. Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate into major problems. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including logs of inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance purposes. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical codes such as NEC. Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical systems. Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage electrical systems; experience with power distribution is highly desirable. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics accurately. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) programming and troubleshooting is a plus. Previous handyman experience or general construction background enhances versatility on diverse projects. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces when required by project scope.
