Job Title:
Service Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Service Electrician with over 5 years of experience in the electrical field, particularly within commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will be proficient in bending pipe and conduit, installing cables and wiring, and will have a strong ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, and lighting. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers. Identify electrical problems using various testing devices. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems are functioning properly. Communicate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure electrical systems meet set specifications. Complete job reports and order supplies as needed. Essential Skills 5+ years of electrical field experience in commercial and industrial settings. Ability to bend pipe and conduit. Proficiency in installing cables and wiring. Strong understanding of electrical systems and components. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. Knowledge of state and local building regulations and the National Electrical Code. Good communication skills for interacting with clients, architects, and contractors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina and dexterity for tasks requiring standing, bending, and lifting. Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in electrical work is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Our work environment spans commercial and industrial settings. We handle projects ranging from renovations and retrofits to new construction for clients such as churches, colleges, and medical facilities. Our team excels in industrial environments, including research labs and manufacturing facilities, with expertise in explosion-proof conditions and rigid conduit systems. Work hours are Monday through Friday, typically 8-9 hour days starting between 6-7 a.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Doylestown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
