Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kick-start your career in the electrical industry! In this energetic role, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside licensed electricians on a variety of construction projects. You'll develop your skills in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and safety procedures while contributing to the successful completion of commercial and industrial installations. Duties Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to perform wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify issues. Support the setup of construction sites by framing carpentry tasks and preparing work areas for electrical installations. Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), especially when working with high voltage systems. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential! Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction site safety practices. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Strong interest in developing expertise in low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Experience or familiarity with NEC standards, ohmmeters, and electrical testing devices is advantageous. Construction site experience or framing carpentry background is beneficial but not mandatory. Pay:
$24.71 - $29.76 per hour
