Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed Master Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will lead electrical projects, ensure compliance with safety standards, and deliver top-quality electrical solutions across various construction and renovation sites. Your expertise will drive the successful installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, empowering our projects to meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Responsibilities Lead and oversee electrical installations, repairs, and upgrades on commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts. Diagnose electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage systems effectively. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local safety regulations. Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment safely to complete projects efficiently. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and team members to ensure timely project completion. Conduct inspections of electrical systems during renovation or new construction phases to guarantee quality and safety standards are met. Requirements Valid license as a Master Electrician with current certification to operate in your jurisdiction. Extensive experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician on construction sites. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems. Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and schematics interpretation. Skilled in using electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for troubleshooting purposes. Experience working with NEC regulations and understanding of low voltage and high voltage safety protocols. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment safely on diverse job sites. Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving complex electrical systems within commercial or industrial settings.
