This pivotal role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems. As a key driver in our renewable energy initiatives, you will oversee complex electrical tasks on construction sites and operational facilities, champion safety standards, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver top-tier solar and BESS solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence sustainable energy development while advancing your career in a dynamic industry. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities for solar PV systems and BESS infrastructure. Ensure all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and safety standards. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide installation and repairs. Manage low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including circuit design, testing with tools like ohmmeters, power tools, and hand tools. Coordinate construction activities on-site by collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and safety personnel. Oversee the use of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks within BESS operations. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed documentation of all electrical work performed, including incident reports, inspection logs, and compliance records. Requirements Valid Master Electrician license with extensive experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems. Proven expertise in solar energy projects and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Strong knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical schematics. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage systems, and renovation or construction environments. Proficiency with electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters; familiarity with power tools and hand tools used on construction sites. Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics accurately and implement complex wiring configurations. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage installations. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to lead teams effectively in fast-paced environments.
