Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, and residential. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work complies with safety standards and regulations while supporting the seamless operation of electrical infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your technical skills and expand your experience in the electrical field. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installations and repairs. Test electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately. Work on low voltage (such as control wiring) and high voltage (up to 600V) electrical systems following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and general construction tasks as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for compliance and future reference. Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent accidents on construction sites or industrial environments. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation or repair of electrical systems. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in residential or commercial environments with a strong understanding of NEC standards. Hands-on experience working on construction sites involving renovation or new builds. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams essential for accurate installations. Experience working with low voltage control wiring as well as high voltage systems up to 600V. Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers along with power tools like drills and saws safely. Knowledge of schematics related to electrical systems is required; handyman experience is advantageous for versatile troubleshooting tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety regulations.
