Electrician

Duties Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to execute precise installations and troubleshooting procedures Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects Test electrical systems using Ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to identify faults or issues Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks in industrial settings Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local regulations, and safety standards Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, electricians, and project managers to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines Conduct low voltage wiring installations for security systems, data networks, or communication equipment Read blueprints and schematics accurately to plan wiring layouts for high voltage or low voltage systems Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing existing electrical infrastructure while maintaining safety protocols Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed Skills Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of electrical systems Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical documentation comprehension Proficient with hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers as well as power tools like drills and saws Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of framing carpentry is a plus Ability to work safely with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems while adhering to NEC standards Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) used in automation processes Strong troubleshooting skills using Ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical faults Handyman experience is advantageous for versatile problem-solving on-site Knowledge of NEC regulations ensures compliance during installation and maintenance tasks Ability to read technical schematics accurately for complex wiring projects Experience working on renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or rewiring efforts Embark on a rewarding career where your technical prowess powers innovative solutions!
