Access Control Installer

What You'll Do As an Access Control Installer, you'll work hands-on in the field installing and supporting physical security systems in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Install and service access control hardware including door strikes, mag locks, crash bars, sensors, and card readers Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5/Cat6; fiber experience a plus) Assist with access control, CCTV, and security system installations Troubleshoot wiring, hardware, and basic system issues Work on job sites such as schools, government buildings, and commercial facilities Collaborate with project teams and report to different job sites as needed Perform physical installation work including ladder use, drilling, lifting, and overhead work What We're Looking For We're less focused on checking every box and more focused on finding the right person —someone dependable, coachable, and motivated to build skills.

Required Qualifications:

Interested in access control, low voltage, or security installation (Prior experience level will determine pay) Strong job tenure and a history of reliability Ability to perform physical installation work in commercial environments Willingness to learn new systems and improve technical skills Positive attitude, punctuality, and strong work ethic Preferred Experience (Not Required): Access control platforms such as Lenel, S2, Genetec, or similar Door hardware and electrified locking systems Experience with manufacturers like Allegion or

ASSA ABLOY

Commercial low voltage or electrical apprentice experience CCTV or VMS installation experience

Pay & Schedule Pay:

$18-$25 per hour, based on relevant experience

Schedule:

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
