No Tennessee journeyman license required. Active journeyman or master electrician license is a plus. The Opportunity Schaffhouser is hiring experienced industrial / journeyman-level electricians to support our East Tennessee work. This role supports industrial and heavy commercial customers across the Athens, Loudon, Knoxville, Maryville, Cleveland, and Chattanooga corridor. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in active industrial environments, troubleshooting electrical systems, installing conduit and feeders, and supporting service work where safety, quality, and productivity all matter. How You Will Make an Impact Install and troubleshoot industrial and commercial electrical systems. Work with feeders, branch circuits, control wiring, lighting systems, disconnects, and equipment power. Install, fabricate, and route conduit, including Galvanized Rigid, Aluminum Rigid, IMC, EMT, and PVC. Pull and terminate power and control conductors ranging from small control wiring up to large feeders. Support service work, new equipment feeds, demo/relocation work, power upgrades, and lighting work in existing facilities. Work in food-grade, manufacturing, automotive, stamping, paper mill, and other industrial environments. Use lifts, ladders, rooftops, underground conduit routes, and other field conditions as needed. Participate in daily safe work planning and weekly safety meetings. Minimize material waste through accurate measurements, clean installation practices, and strong field planning. Lead or support field crews depending on experience level. Required Qualifications 10,000+ hours of commercial or industrial electrical experience, or completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program. Proven experience in commercial / industrial electrical installation, service, or troubleshooting. Ability to troubleshoot feeders, branch circuits, control wiring, lighting, and equipment power. Ability to read prints, follow field direction, and adapt to active facility conditions. Standard electrical hand tools. Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel across the East Tennessee service area. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and occasional night shifts when project needs require it. Preferred Qualifications 7-10+ years of industrial or heavy commercial electrical experience. Lead electrician, foreman, or crew-lead experience. Active journeyman or master electrician license. Experience in manufacturing, food processing, automotive, stamping, paper mills, or similar industrial environments. Experience with control wiring, rigid conduit, lifts, underground conduit, and existing-facility service work. High school diploma or GED. Compensation & Benefits Weekly pay.
