This role is vital in ensuring that all electrical work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards. As a Lead Electrician, you will coordinate teams, interpret schematics and blueprints, and implement electrical systems that power commercial, industrial, and residential environments. Your expertise will drive the success of our projects while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Lead and supervise electrical installation, maintenance, and repair activities on construction sites and renovation projects. Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate wiring and system setup. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment to diagnose issues effectively. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other trades such as frame carpentry to ensure seamless project execution. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, including proper handling of electrical components and adherence to local codes. Mentor junior electricians by sharing technical knowledge, guiding best practices, and promoting a safety-first culture. Requirements Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments. Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and blueprint reading. Hands-on experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems; familiarity with NEC standards is essential. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read technical schematics accurately and interpret complex wiring diagrams. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience supervising electrical teams or projects. Strong understanding of renovation processes as they relate to electrical systems installation or upgrades.
