Journeyman Electrician - Foreman II

Position Overview The Electrical Foreman 2 is a senior field leader responsible for managing crews, coordinating daily work activities, and executing defined portions of projects with minimal oversight. This role supports the Superintendent by translating project plans into field execution, maintaining productivity, and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule commitments are met. Foreman 2s are expected to lead people confidently, solve field-level problems, and mentor Foreman 1s and apprentices. What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise electrical crews on active jobsites
• Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work activities in alignment with project schedules
• Enforce all jobsite safety rules and lead daily tailboards and pre-task planning
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and revisions independently
• Coordinate material needs, deliveries, and staging to support productivity
• Track labor, production, and progress for assigned work areas
• Identify and communicate conflicts, design issues, or scope gaps proactively
• Maintain jobsite organization, housekeeping, and professional standards
• Coach and mentor Foreman 1s and apprentices to improve skills and performance
• Coordinate with Superintendents and Project Managers on progress and field needs
• Represent Harlan Electric professionally with clients, inspectors, and other trades What You'll Need
• Journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience leading crews as a foreman or lead electrician
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and codes
• Proven safety leadership and ability to enforce jobsite standards
• Ability to plan work, manage labor, and maintain productivity
• Strong communication and organizational skills
