Electrical Apprentice

Duties Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites and commercial facilities Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution Conduct basic troubleshooting using tools such as the Ohmmeter to test circuits and components Follow safety standards including NEC (National Electrical Code) guidelines for low voltage and high voltage systems Support the setup of low voltage systems like alarms or data cabling, ensuring proper connections and safety measures Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use Experience Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrical work is a plus but not required; we value enthusiasm to learn! Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as the Ohmmeter Construction site experience demonstrating ability to work safely in active environments Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams is advantageous Exposure to framing carpentry or general construction practices is beneficial but not mandatory Strong interest in developing skills related to high voltage systems and NEC standards Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining a proactive attitude toward learning Embark on a rewarding journey in the electrical field with us!
