$30.00 - $35.00 / hour (Junior to Mid-Level) Position Overview We are a rapidly expanding, large-scale blockchain infrastructure operator managing high-density Bitcoin mining facilities across multiple US locations. We are actively seeking multiple Facility Operations Technicians to support the 24/7 continuous operation of our ASIC miner fleets, power distribution networks, cooling infrastructure, and associated facility assets. This is a highly hands-on, multi-disciplinary role intersecting computer hardware, industrial electrical engineering, mechanical maintenance, and facility operations. The successful candidate will be critical in ensuring system uptime, optimizing performance, and maintaining the long-term reliability of our infrastructure. Key Responsibilities 1. ASIC Miner Operations Deploy, rack, and un-rack ASIC miners (Antminer, Whatsminer, Sealminer) in accordance with site deployment standards. Execute routine inspections and preventative maintenance, including the replacement of hash boards, Power Supply Units (PSUs), control boards, and cooling fans. Perform firmware upgrades, configuration adjustments, and remote reboots as directed. Analyze system logs, hash rate data, and diagnostic outputs to identify the root cause of underperformance or equipment failure. 2. Electrical & Power Distribution Perform basic electrical tasks under appropriate supervision, including cable terminations, breaker inspections, and load verification. Execute the installation, replacement, and inspection of Power Distribution Units (PDUs), including coordinating Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and conducting post-installation testing. Assist licensed electricians and engineering staff with switchgear maintenance and electrical commissioning. 3. Cooling & Thermal Management Systems Maintain air-cooling infrastructure, including exhaust fans, water curtains, and heat walls. Service and maintain evaporative cooling ("wet pad") systems, including water pump inspections, line flushing, media replacement, and water quality monitoring. 4. Networking & IT Infrastructure Perform basic switch configurations and IP-level troubleshooting to support mining and monitoring systems. Apply fundamental knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and Linux system administration to ensure facility uptime. Monitor mining pool performance and escalate critical data anomalies per established protocols. 5. Facility & Grounds Maintenance Execute routine plumbing repairs, including the replacement of pipe fittings, valves, and water lines for cooling and sanitation systems. Maintain facility grounds, including lawn care, vegetation control, and general landscaping to ensure a safe and orderly operational environment. Operate company-provided engineering and sanitation vehicles (including refuse collection trucks) in compliance with safety standards to remove site waste, packaging, and decommissioned components. Perform minor cosmetic and structural repairs to facility buildings and enclosures. 6. Inventory, Logistics & Documentation Receive, inspect, scan, and stage incoming miners, components, and consumables. Maintain precise records within asset management and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) / ticketing systems. Prepare outbound equipment, encompassing packaging, labeling, and processing Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs). 7. Health, Safety & Compliance Strictly adhere to OSHA standards, internal electrical safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) mandates. Complete daily and weekly operational reports accurately and promptly. Escort approved visitors and contractors through controlled facility zones.Qualifications Language:

High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude with proficiency in hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment. Highly analytical with the ability to interpret logs and performance data.Requirements:
Must hold a valid driver's license, possess reliable personal transportation, and be eligible for coverage under the company's vehicle insurance policy.Availability:
Willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations (overtime pay applicable). Preferred Qualifications (Plus Factors) 1-3 years of experience in Bitcoin mining operations, data centers, industrial maintenance, or similar critical infrastructure environments. Direct, hands-on experience with ASIC hardware (Antminer, Whatsminer, Sealminer) and associated firmware tools. Familiarity with Foreman or equivalent miner management platforms. Industry certifications such as OSHA 10/30, Journeyman Electrician License, CCNA, RHCSA, or LPIC. Experience operating heavy machinery and light commercial vehicles, or holding a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Background in manufacturing, construction, electrical trades, HVAC, or oilfield services. Physical Demands Ability to stand continuously for shifts of 7 hours or more. Capacity to frequently lift and carry heavy objects weighing between 30 and 75 lbs (13.6 to 34 kg). Ability to bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and work in confined or narrow spaces while handling tools and components. Ability to navigate uneven, wet, or slippery surfaces indoors and outdoors. Work Environment This role operates in an active industrial setting characterized by high ambient temperatures, continuous equipment noise, airborne dust, and outdoor sun exposure. Mining facilities are typically located in remote areas of Texas. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage or annual salary commensurate with experience.
