Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations or repairs Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects Test electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately Work with low voltage systems including security alarms, data cabling, and communication wiring Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry and other related tasks to ensure seamless project execution Follow safety protocols rigorously when working with high voltage or in potentially hazardous environments
