This job requires some experience in reading and understanding schematics and blueprints. Basic experience with hand tools, pneumatic tools is required. This includes drivers, drills, wire cutting, wire stripping and soldering. Responsibilities Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and fixture installation tasks efficiently and safely. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate electrical work. Support the setup and troubleshooting of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Follow safety protocols on construction sites, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards and safety compliance. Skills Basic understanding of electrical theory, circuits, and wiring practices. Experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing devices like ohmmeters. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings effectively. Knowledge of NEC standards related to low voltage and high voltage systems. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. Familiarity with frame carpentry or basic construction techniques is advantageous but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail when diagnosing electrical issues.
