The Electrician diagnoses malfunctioning equipment, components, and locates the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. The Electrician is also responsible for connecting wires to circuit breakers, transformers, motors, or other systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Perform and troubleshoot general electrical maintenance
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring systems and motors
  • Demonstrate mechanical knowledge
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot PLC's
  • Layout and plan installation of electrical wiring
  • HVAC knowledge and programming of VFD's
  • Must be physically capable of performing work from ladders, lifts, and scaffolds to maintain or repair electrical wiring equipment and control systems
  • Perform duties in hot, cold, dirty work environments
  • Work maintenance as part of a team
  • Comply with safety guidelines
