The ideal candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, with a strong focus on working with conduit pipe and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial construction projects. Work with various types of conduit pipe, including EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings. Perform wiring, grounding, and panel installations according to code requirements. Test electrical systems and components for safety, efficiency, and compliance. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs. Ensure all work meets NEC (National Electrical Code) and local regulations. Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects on time. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician license. (Varies by State) Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial electrical work. Extensive experience working with conduit pipe and electrical installations. Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions. Valid driver's license. Ability to pass background check.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with fire alarm systems, lighting controls, and emergency power systems. Ability to operate power tools and testing equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. (Pay is based on experience) to get in contact with a recruiter!
Pay:
$23.00 - $34.00 per hour
