The Position:
Maintenance Electrician for PEMEX Deer Park
We are looking for a positive, energetic
SEASONED MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN
with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:
Perform tasks including but not limited to electrical, PLC troubleshooting and repair of equipment 70E Certification preferred
Must have minimum of 5 years experience as a Maintenance Electrician
Must have experience with racking medium and high voltage
Work independently and pay attention to detail, including accurate data collection and tracking of preventative maintenance information
Properly document troubleshooting of events
Perform routine preventative maintenance and corrective repairs of electrical equipment
Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders and blue prints to perform required maintenance and service
Must be able to perform MCC, Switchgear Work, and Rack in/Rack outs
Must be able to fabricate and install conduit supports
Must be able to install wire and cable
Fabricate and install rigid, aluminum, E.M.T., plasti-bond and P.V.C. conduit
Must have the ability to use mechanical and 2" - 4" hydraulic benders
Must have the ability to install wire and cable by either hand or machine in cable trays
Must be able to perform troubleshooting on energized motor controls
Must have general knowledge of maintenance of industrial equipment
Can fabricate and install breakers and fuses, cable trays, batteries, battery charger, buss duct, junction boxes, tagging, term, motors, and transformers
Can size thermal-overloads, breakers, and fuses
Able to terminate motors, transformers, stress cones and cable splicing
Understand the proper use of hydraulic tools
Can read blueprints and national electric code requirements
Knowledgeable in the use of electrical equipment testers including
V.O.M., AMP
meter and 1000-volt insulation tester
Knowledgeable in communication and applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations
Requirements:

Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Skill Assessment.
Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
