In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across different projects including industrial and commercial construction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from routine maintenance to complex renovations, utilizing your extensive electrical knowledge and hands-on skills. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage and high voltage wiring in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and schematics. Utilize hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to perform precise electrical tests. Maintain and upgrade electrical systems on construction sites and within existing facilities during renovation projects. Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate machinery and processes effectively. Install motors, conveyors, control panels. Conduct inspections of electrical infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with construction teams on new installations or renovations involving electrical components. Follow safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical work while adhering to NEC guidelines. Document all maintenance activities clearly in logs and reports for future reference and compliance audits. Qualifications Proven experience as an industrial or commercial electrician with a strong background in electrical systems installation and maintenance. Hands-on experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical installations. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment essential for troubleshooting electrical issues. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks. Familiarity with NEC standards, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and safety procedures for construction sites. Experience working on renovation projects or within construction environments is highly desirable. Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions while maintaining safety standards. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent attention to detail in all tasks performed. Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations; additional certifications in construction are a plus.
Pay:
$20.00 - $30.00 per hour
