- Job Summary
- The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. They will work on a variety of projects ranging from construction sites to renovation projects.
- Duties
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identify electrical problems using various testing devices, such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
- Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other local regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams and other professionals on-site
- Perform both low voltage (under 50 volts) and high voltage (over 600 volts) electrical work
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems
- Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrician or similar role
- Knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems
- Ability to work in various environments including construction sites
- Familiarity with hand tools and electrical equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
