Industrial Controls/PLC Electrician

General Summary:

Our Industrial Controls/PLC Electricians maintain and upgrade plant electrical equipment, as well as assist in the repairs of equipment not related to electrical equipment, as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

Experience with VFDs (variable frequency drives) Troubleshoot robotics Computer based troubleshooting; e.g. PLC and VFD Familiar with contacting technical support; e.g. Fanuc Robotics Operate automated machinery to test for malfunctions and to verify repairs Knowledge of NEC (national electric code) Experience with multi meters and hand tools Communicate clearly with management and fellow team members Perform preventive maintenance in a timely manner Able to return to work when needed for unforeseen breakdowns Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, climb and lift 50 lbs.
