Electrician

Electrical Apprentice & Journeyman Electricians Caldwell Services Inc. (CSI) Caldwell Services Inc. is seeking motivated Electrical Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians to join our growing team. We perform commercial electrical work throughout Texas and surrounding states. Applicants must be willing to travel as needed. Travel expenses and lodging are paid by the company. While travel is required, employees are typically home on weekends.

Pay Range:

Electrical Apprentice:

$15-$25/hour

Journeyman Electrician:

$30-$40/hour Pay is based on licensing, experience, and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities Work under the direction of a Foreman on electrical installations, alterations, additions, and repairs. Lay out work and prepare materials for installation. Perform underground layout and rough-in work. Determine wire and conduit sizing. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. Install BUSS feeders. Perform switchgear installations and terminations. Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical equipment in new and existing facilities. Read and work from diagrams, schematics, and blueprints. Troubleshoot electrical circuits, systems, and equipment. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Complete additional project-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Electrical Apprentices Current Texas Electrical Apprentice License (TDLR) preferred. Commercial electrical construction experience is a plus. Ability to learn electrical theory, installation methods, and industry best practices. Willingness to travel and work occasional overtime. Journeyman Electricians Current Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR) required. Experience in commercial electrical construction. Ability to lead projects, manage materials, and work independently. Strong troubleshooting and installation skills. General Requirements OSHA 30 certification preferred. Understand the importance of Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). Basic mechanical aptitude and mathematical skills. Ability to understand and apply electrical theory. Reliable transportation. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to work occasional overtime as required. Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Why Join CSI?
