Electrical Apprentice

Satokie designs, builds, and operates large-scale industrial data centers with a strong focus on energy optimization and operational excellence. Headquartered in Houston and founded in 2022, we support the Bitcoin network and large-scale digital asset operations across Texas, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. Overview Satokie is hiring an Electrical Apprentice to support an upcoming electrical project at our Big Spring, Texas, Bitcoin mining facility. In this entry-level role, you will work under licensed Journeyman and Master Electricians to help install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems that keep our large-scale mining infrastructure running safely and efficiently. About Satokie Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Enid, Oklahoma, Satokie designs, builds, and operates large-scale Bitcoin mining facilities with a strong focus on energy optimization. We operate as both a developer and a third-party operations service provider, managing mining infrastructure across multiple states with an energy-first approach that drives efficiency, sustainability, and long-term growth.[1] What You'll Do
  • Perform electrical work under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician in compliance with OSHA, NEC, and all applicable local electrical codes.
  • Assist with installation, wiring, and termination of electrical panels, conduit, cable trays, breakers, and related equipment within the mining facility.
  • Support the installation and connection of PDUs, transformers, and UPS systems as directed.
  • Pull wire, run conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC), and perform basic rough-in and finish electrical tasks.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials in good working order, including proper storage and inventory tracking.[1]
  • Follow all PPE requirements and site safety protocols; participate in daily safety briefings and job hazard analyses (JHAs).
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Collaborate with operations and electrical teams to meet project milestones and uptime goals.
  • Document work performed, materials used, and issues encountered, and report to the supervising Journeyman or Project Lead. This role has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Currently enrolled in or graduate of a state-approved electrical apprenticeship program (IBEW or equivalent) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical schematics and blueprints under supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, industrial environments.
  • Demonstrated teamwork, reliability, and strong work ethic. Nice to Have
  • Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or industrial electrical environments.
  • Familiarity with data center or large-scale power distribution environments.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical issues independently with high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from experienced tradespeople. Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Work performed in industrial data center/mining environments with loud noise, high heat, air particulates, and varying or extreme weather conditions.
  • Regular physical effort including lifting over 50 pounds, extended standing, kneeling, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
  • May require weekends, nights, or on-call work as part of the regular schedule.
  • Majority of work is on-site at the Big Spring, TX facility; some work in office environments may be required.
  • Strict adherence to electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and PPE protocols at all times.
Travel may be required up to 25% of the time to support other Satokie Mining sites as needed. Why Join Satokie?
