Residential Service Electrician

Roa Electrical Services is a growing residential and light commercial electrical contractor based in the Tomball area. We specialize in service work and troubleshooting, and we're looking for an experienced electrician who can run their own service truck and take ownership of jobs from start to finish. What You'll Do Run a service van and manage daily service calls independently Troubleshoot and diagnose residential and light commercial electrical issues Perform repairs, upgrades, and installations Communicate clearly with customers and provide professional service Generate and explain small job estimates on-site Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and up to code Maintain organized truck inventory and job documentation What We're Looking For Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills (this is critical) Ability to work independently without constant supervision Professional, customer-friendly attitude Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Ability to manage time, jobs, and priorities in a service environment Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, outdoors, and varying conditions Requirements 3+ years of residential service experience (required) Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must pass background check and be drug-free Fluent in English Must live within reasonable distance of the Tomball area (meet at shop daily) Preferred (Not Required) Texas Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman License Experience running a service truck independently Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes Pay & Benefits Hourly pay based on experience + performance opportunities Paid weekly (every Friday) Steady, year-round service work Paid vacation after 1 year Schedule Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hours may vary depending on service calls and workload Why Join Us Consistent workflow (no large project downtime) Opportunity to grow with a company that's expanding Team-focused, no-drama work environment How to Apply Submit your resume or a brief summary of your experience and the type of work you've handled.
