This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, as well as battery storage, generators, whole-home monitoring systems, and other residential energy solutions. The ideal candidate is a skilled electrical professional who ensures all installations are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, while delivering high-quality, reliable energy solutions aligned with our mission and values. Key Responsibilities Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and associated electrical components on residential and ground-mounted systems Wire PV systems in compliance with NEC and Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements Connect inverters, combiner boxes, disconnects, and related components Test, troubleshoot, and commission PV systems to ensure proper functionality and safety Perform electrical work on battery storage systems, generators, whole-home monitoring systems, and other current or future energy solutions offered by the company Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams Ensure compliance with all electrical, safety, and building regulations Safely operate electrical tools and equipment, including rooftop work Collaborate with installers and other trades to ensure smooth project execution Perform preventative maintenance and monitor system performance Document completed work, configurations, and troubleshooting activities Follow project schedules and meet deadlines Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Active Journeyman Electrician License (required) Valid driver's license with a good driving record Reliable transportation Active smartphone for communication and job-related applications Own standard electrical tools Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Qualifications Licensed or certified electrician (Journeyman preferred; Apprentice/Wireman considered) Experience installing and maintaining solar PV systems Strong knowledge of solar inverters, battery storage, and electrical components Familiarity with

Article 690 and AHJ requirements Experience with system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction Work Environment Outdoor and rooftop work in varying weather conditions Work at heights and in potentially hazardous environments Physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, and extended standing

Pay:

$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
