is seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role requires a proactive approach to preventive maintenance and collaboration with vendors and internal teams to support equipment functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, control circuits, contactors, and relays per manufacturer recommendations and company procedures. Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and electronic systems on production and related equipment down to the component level. Assist vendors during retrofits, modifications, and implementation of equipment methodologies. Read, interpret, and apply industrial mechanical, electrical, and electronic schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Utilize multimeters, meggers, and hand tools for testing and documentation of measurements. Conduct electrical repairs in compliance with: National Electric Code (NEC)
  • National Fire Protection Association (NFPA-70E)
  • Local government codes
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines Mentor maintenance mechanics by providing guidance and motivation to support their professional development.
Actively engage in safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and demonstrate leadership in promoting a safe work environment. Maintain a supply of critical spare electrical equipment as outlined in the CMMS spare parts list. Generate parts lists and estimates for electrical projects and be familiar with necessary electrical components.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of two years of industrial electrical work experience. Must have been employed as an Electrician within the past 18 months. Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) and OSHA safety requirements. Proficiency in:
  • Three-phase motors
  • Electrical standards
  • Blueprint reading and revisions
  • Basic math for electrical calculations Experience working in a manufacturing environment is essential. Ability to operate forklifts and vehicles. Must be able to use hand tools, meters, and other testing equipment effectively. Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
  • ISA, PAE, HVAC
  • MSHA, HV, OSHA
  • INPO, PLC, ARC
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry materials, tools, or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and occasionally up to 75 pounds with team assistance or mechanical aid. Frequent standing and walking for extended periods (8 to 12-hour shifts). Regular bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, reaching overhead, and working in awkward or confined positions. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to handle small components and operate precision machinery. Ability to push/pull carts, pallets, or heavy components as part of the material handling process. Ability to climb ladders or access platforms for equipment maintenance or inspection when necessary. Must be able to work in an environment with continuous exposure to noise, and occasional exposure to vibration, dust, fumes, and varying temperatures (both hot and cold). You must wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times when in the production facility (e.g., steel-toe boots, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hat). Must have the physical stamina and focus to perform repetitive tasks safely and accurately throughout a full shift.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Possess a valid U.S. drivers license. Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and criminal background check
