• Weekend Shift-Sherman, TX, United States (On-Site) Emerson has an exciting opportunity at our Sherman, TX, location for a Weekend Shift Electrician (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6AM-6PM).

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Responsible for all electrical services at Emerson

• Sherman.

Fully plans and installs 120/240/480-volt electrical services which conform to city and NEC codes as required to ensure the safety of all employees and equipment. Responsible for other maintenance duties such as LAN installations, phone lines, plumbing repairs and the repair of electrical/mechanical devices including but not limited to: Production machines, Assembly test equipment, Equipment assigned to the building such as boilers, air compressors, and HVAC systems. Must work closely with Non-Product Buyer and factory technicians as required. Must follow all safety and quality policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the

For This Role, You Will Need:

High School Diploma or GED and two-year technical degree focused on the repair of electrical, mechanical, telecommunications or network installations. Must be able to provide proof of active journeyman's electrical license for Grayson County. Minimum of 2 years hands on experience and currently qualified to install 120/240/480 voltage in manufacturing facility. Knowledge in the following areas: HVAC systems; Telecommunications; Electrical Circuits; Mechanical Systems; Air Compressors & Hydraulics; PLC basics. Knowledge in OSHA regulations pertaining to electrical installations. Ability to interpret maintenance prints and electrical schematics. Must be able to obtain a mobile equipment license to operate all mobile equipment within 2 months.
