This is more than a repair role, it's an opportunity to ensure operational excellence, maximize production uptime, and eliminate safety hazards for our entire facility. Responsibilities:
Expertly maintain and optimize sophisticated electronic and mechanical systems, including advanced electrical controls, PLCs, high-voltage drive systems, and power transmission components. Interpret complex schematics and blueprints to monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance plant-wide electrical and mechanical sub-systems. Provide rapid-response troubleshooting and high-quality repairs for all company assets to ensure continuous operational flow. Execute rigorous routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs to extend equipment life and prevent unscheduled downtime. Analyze operational inefficiencies to implement strategic improvements and proactive plans of action. Lead electrical project work for plant-wide process improvements and provide technical expertise for major capital initiatives. Partner with manufacturing teams to resolve technical challenges and offer cross-functional support for electrical and mechanical issues.
Working hours:
6:00 AM - 2:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)
Skills:
Mechanically inclined with great troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Organized with good communication skills and attention to detail Works well independently and with others Willingness and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with rapidly changing demands and priorities Knowledge and ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools. Knowledge of health and safety regulations. Must be willing and able to work overtime, as needed
Education:
High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required; Trade or vocational school certification; equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of education; Journeyman Electrician apprenticeship greatly appreciated 5+ years of experience as an industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Ability to bend, stretch, twist, push, pull, grasp, grip, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery. Must be able to visually inspect machines. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Willing and able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
