Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Electrical Apprentice and kickstart your career in the electrical industry! This paid position offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled electricians on diverse construction projects. You will develop essential skills in electrical systems, blueprint reading, and safety protocols while contributing to the successful completion of commercial and industrial electrical installations. Duties Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit installation, and fixture mounting accurately. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support project execution. Measure electrical components using tools like ohmmeters and ensure proper connections following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage systems, adhering to safety regulations and best practices. Participate in site safety inspections, maintain a clean work environment, and follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment. Collaborate with team members on framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations and ensure seamless integration with construction activities. Requirements Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not mandatory. Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters. Strong interest in learning about low voltage and high voltage electrical systems within construction environments. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Construction site experience is highly desirable; familiarity with framing carpentry is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, safety-conscious mindset, and willingness to follow instructions closely. Must possess reliable transportation and be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. $20.00 - $30.17 per hour
