Generator Supercenter is a leading provider of Generac generators, offering sales, installation, and service to residential and commercial customers. We are dedicated to providing our clients with reliable power solutions and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team and help us continue our mission of keeping the lights on for our community.
The Role:
We are looking for a Electrician to specialize in the installation of Generac home standby generators. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for the complete electrical hook-up of Generac generators, including running conduit, connecting transfer switches, and ensuring all electrical work is up to code and meets the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, wire, and connect Generac home standby generators, including all associated electrical components. Run PVC conduit Install automatic transfer switches (ATS) and subpanels. Perform electrical code checks and ensure all installations comply with local and national electrical codes (NEC). Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints. Troubleshoot and resolve any electrical issues that may arise during installation. Collaborate with team members, including plumbers and sales staff, to ensure a smooth and efficient installation process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Provide excellent customer service and represent Generator Supercenter in a professional manner. Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each job.
Qualifications:
Electrical experience working around meters, electrical panels. Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential or commercial electrical work. Prior experience with generator installation, particularly Generac products, is a significant plus. Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Proficiency in running and bending various types of conduit. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
