The Electrician assists the Superintendent, Foreman, or Leadman in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures for commercial and industrial projects. This role ensures safe, efficient, and code-compliant electrical installations while supporting the success of every project. Key Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely. Plan and execute installations from blueprints and specifications. Mentor less experienced workers and support crew leadership. Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors. Manage materials responsibly to minimize waste. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Qualifications 4-6 years of commercial electrical experience required. Current Journeyman's License preferred. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills. Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Capable of handling multiple concurrent projects. Passion for the trade and commitment to Design Electric's mission and values. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, and bend throughout a work shift. Capable of performing physical labor safely and efficiently in varying environments.
