Job Title:

QA QC Helper Job Description We are looking for two QA QC Helpers to support mechanical and electrical quality assurance tasks. The role involves ensuring proper installation and specification adherence for electrical and mechanical components. Responsibilities Assist in mechanical and electrical quality assurance tasks. Ensure posts are driven to specification. Verify correct installation of electrical components. Troubleshoot electrical issues as needed. File reports using a tablet. Perform labor and non-electrical related tasks frequently. Use basic hand and power tools effectively. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and industrial diagrams. Essential Skills 2+ years of solar electrical experience within the last 3 years. 2+ years of QA/QC experience in solar projects. Proficiency in electrical, conduit, and wiring tasks. Ability to use basic hand and power tools. Capability to read a tape measure and ruler. OSHA 10 certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in troubleshooting electrical systems. Work Environment Work will take place outdoors at a solar project in Chatham, VA, specifically a 100 MW site. The environment is new construction, with work scheduled Monday through Friday, starting at 7 AM daily. Saturday shifts are common, and each day includes three breaks: morning, lunch, and afternoon. Safety talks are conducted every morning before work commences. Appropriate work clothing, suitable for outdoor conditions, is required on site. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Chatham, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
