Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrician Journeyman to join our team. The ideal candidate is skilled, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a crew on commercial projects of varying size and complexity.
Responsibilities:
Work safely on energized and de-energized circuits, following OSHA and company safety standards. Run MC cable and install conduit, junction boxes, and wiring systems in commercial buildings. Install, troubleshoot, and repair lighting systems, including interior fixtures, recessed lighting, and controls. Wire pole lights and outdoor lighting systems. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and verification of electrical circuits and equipment. Ensure all work meets NEC and local electrical code standards. Collaborate with foremen, apprentices, and project managers to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications:
Valid Journeyman Electrician License (Preferred). Minimum 3 years of commercial electrical experience. Strong understanding of NEC codes and electrical theory. Ability to work safely on energized systems using appropriate PPE and procedures. Reliable transportation, tools, and a strong work ethic. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors as needed.

$22.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
