Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Licensed Lead Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will perform a wide range of electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks while ensuring all work meets local and national codes as well as safety standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of electricians on-site to ensure efficient workflow Lead and assist apprentices Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements Daily billing entries and maintain clear, organized job records Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems Diagnose electrical problems Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of electrical work within overall project plans. Train and mentor junior electricians in best practices and safety protocols Maintain tools, equipment and company vehicles Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and regulations throughout all phases of the project Qualifications Residential and commercial experience Valid State of Vermont Electrician license Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately Experience with hand tools and power tools commonly used in electrical work Knowledge of logic controllers and their integration into electrical systems Solid understanding of electrical theory, installation techniques, and troubleshooting methods Excellent problem-solving and technical skills with the ability to think critically Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other trades on-site Ability to lead a team while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, work in various environments and weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation OSHA 10 (preferred) Punctual and dependable
