Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including experience with residential and commercial projects. This role requires proficiency in using both hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings. Work with high voltage equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks related to electrical installations. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine layout of wiring systems. Conduct renovations involving electrical work, ensuring all installations meet local codes and regulations. Perform troubleshooting on electrical systems using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools. Collaborate with other tradespeople on job sites to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role in the electrical field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices. Ability to effectively use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and other equipment relevant to the trade. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
